A bold masterpiece, one of Disney’s greatest works of art. It is a watercolor painting of creativity, emotion, and wonder. There is a reason that more than fifteen years after its original theatrical release, it can still win the box office two weeks in a row. The Lion King is beloved by millions, probably billions, around the world. The characters are a part of our lives, and the lines and songs are so engrained in our popular culture that to be ignorant of the immense impact of The Lion King is comparable to never having seen the light of day.
In this Great Circle of Life that we are all a part of, be sure to watch this one more than once. It is one of those rare films that you will never be too old for, and one that will always inspire you to rise up and be who you are called to be.
