Ridley Scott’s sci-fi/horror epic, Prometheus, has finally landed, and ladies and gentlemen, it is nothing short of an absolutely breathtaking thrill ride! This is not only the best horror film of the year, but easily the best film I’ve seen in 2012.
The film, set in the same universe as Scott’s Alien, tells the tale of the galactic spaceship, Prometheus, and its crew of 17, as they venture deep into space in search of a distant moon that has been referenced in cave drawings all across Earth, for centuries.
Believing it to be a sign that our creators must inhabit this mysterious place, they locate it, set their course, and, after a brief two-year hypersleep, land on moon LV-223.
The scientists suit up and venture out into the vast wasteland terrain the moon provides, and quickly locate an architectural structure, a building of some kind, and being the plucky adventurers they are, go inside it…
