The heart-warming, yet incredibly raunchy, tale of a man and his best friend, who happens to be a magical teddy bear from his childhood, is about as frustratingly predictable as it gets. The man, played wonderfully by Mark Whalberg, must choose between his girlfriend (Mila Kunis) or Ted (voiced and motion-captured by Seth MacFarlane, who is also directing), and the film documents his emotional journey into adulthood. Predictable it may be, the film was well-acted, full of heart, and packed with the priceless moments of pop-culture random hilarity that only Seth MacFarlane can bring us from the best depths of his politically incorrect brand of humor.
