Bloody Disgusting is spreading the news that Anchor Bay’s 3D shark extravaganza, “Bait 3D”, will use Tugg to decide what cities the film will play in, which means it’s up to audiences to vote soon.
Much like the original Paranormal Activity’s marketing campaign, Tugg is a collective action web platform that allows its users to decide which films come to their community, and even screens some films earlier than the theatrical release, as in the case of “Bait”.
The film is set in the aftermath of a massive tsunami that leaves a group of people trapped in a mostly-submerged grocery store. And if that wasn’t bad enough, the rushing waters have pushed a swarm of huge great white sharks into the store with them, aggressive and bloodthirsty…
