Since 1989, we’ve had plenty of ghosts, but no one to call.
“Ghostbusters II”, the smash-hit follow up to the fantastic “Ghost Busters” (1984), was the last anyone has seen of our favorite paranormal crime-fighters Harold Ramis, Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, and Ernie Hudson. Columbia Pictures has since tried and tried again to get a third installment produced, but to no avail.
But wait! Variety reports that progress has been made towards us seeing the doctors strap on the proton packs again. Screenwriter Etan Cohen, who has seen success with “Tropic Thunder” and “Men in Black 3”, has been given the rewrite job for “Ghostbusters 3”. Truly a step in the right direction…
